Latest generation Intel ® Celeron ® processor J3455 (formerly codenamed "Apollo Lake") powers the NISE 51 series, positioned as a smart IoT gateway for factory automation and smart city applications. With a DDR3L SODIMM memory socket, the NISE 51 series supports operating temperatures from -10°C to 60°C with a 12V/24V DC input at +/-10% range. The NISE 51 series has powerful connectivity - an Ethernet-based LAN port and a traditional RS485, mainly for Modbus TCP or Modbus RTU communication. For wireless connectivity, it has 1 x mini-PCIe socket and 2 x M.2 slots that can support optional wireless modules for IoT applications, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5G and 4G LTE modules and a storage module. The NISE 51 is definitely the best choice for an M2M smart system as a smart IoT gateway.
