The CPS 50 is a fanless computer powered by an NXP i.MX 8M Plus Cortex®-A53 Quad Core processor with a neural network accelerator of up to 2.3 TOPS, designed for advanced machine learning inference requiring high performance and low power consumption at the industrial and IoT (Internet of Things) edge. The CPS 50 comes with built-in 2 GB LPDDR4 memory, 32 GB eMMC and an internal Micro SD slot for storage expansion. The CPS 50 brings together every kind of peripheral connectivity you need and offers flexibility with a modular rear I/O design for easy customization. The CPS 50 offers powerful connectivity - Ethernet-based LAN ports and traditional serial ports, mainly for Modbus TCP or Modbus RTU communication. For wireless connectivity, the CPS 50 has mini-PCIe and M.2 sockets that can support optional wireless modules for IoT applications, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE and 5G modules and a storage module. The CPS 50 supports a wide DC input range of 9-30VDC. All these features make the CPS 50 suitable for a variety of applications such as edge AI, M2M smart systems and factory automation platforms.
